There seems to be at least a handful of us in the area. I'm up in Gurnee, IL. We should try and get together. I know there are a number of options for game shops as well I have enough space in my basement for 3-4 tables, as well as plenty of terrain. We're spread pretty far so maybe a central location would be best? I figure we can start with a location and then move on to a date....

So what do you all think?

Games Plus in Mt. Prospect would be best I think. I've already stirred up the ashes and have people interested in playing.

Yeah I figured that Games Plus would be a good place. But we should get input from the Indiana guys as they would have a bit of a hike to get there.

GamesPlus is hands down the best gaming store I have ever been to and they actually have VOR product on the shelves. However, gas prices are the barrier to attending regular events there.

We can schedule the occasional Chicagoland area event but I would also like to have an Indiana group(though you Chicagoan's, Wisconsin residents, friends from Ohio, and anyone else who would like to attend are certainly welcome!) so that we can play more often without as far of a drive. Currently we play at home but our Classic Battletech venue would be ideal for a VOR get together AND the owner is a VOR-fan!

Games Plus has always been a bastion of loyalty & glory for VOR.

I live in Indiana but commute to Deerfield, so I may be up for some week day Vor at Games Plus, maybe a Saturday here and there as well

Twisted, where's the Battletech Venue? I know we use to play Vor at Tenth Planet, otherwise not many other good Hobby stores around, well, nothing like Games Plus!

I may host a few games for the Southern's this Summer. (had to convince the wife Vor 2.0 was a good thing, I'll finish off the basement now for a gaming area! lol And yes, her initial reaction was NOOOOOOO!!!! WHHHHYYYYYY!!!! Sheesh, Skuzzy is lucky to have a wife who doesn't mind 50 lbs of metal on the kitchen table! haha)

Critical Effect, in Hobart. Great place, nice people. Some of us will be there Sunday about noon. If you want to play Battletech we are playing 5000 BV2 then. We can provide a number of units to choose from. I come from Knox IN and it is a haul to get there. Any weekend that you can play VOR or Battletech let me know and I can attempt to make it. The wife occasionaly wants a weekend with me.
